BMWX5 2024 electrical Lemon?

Control display panel is BLACK, can't see mileage, fuel, engine temp ect. Heads-up Display works sometimes and now check engine light is on.. Jeesh.. anyone else having these issues!

Everyone is having some issue or the other. We really can’t tell wheat’s wrong unless either you connect a debug adapter and get fault codes or take it to a dealer and have them diagnose it for you.

I have MY22 instrument panel gone dead at 7k miles. Replaced by dealer. Really cannot say much about long term reliability of modern cars

Good to know. I have had it to the dealer and they returned it as fixed. The issues started back up again after re-starting it when I returned home.

I heard something about a patch coming in September, Is this true?

The 8.5 OTA is scheduled to begin in September.
