Week 40 Builds

Trying to find a thread about this but I guess I can put it in here for now….
Plugged it in for the first time today but won’t charge till tonight as my charger is scheduled to only charge at low peak hours (9pm-6am I think).
Either way, seems that the AC stayed on for like an hour when I turned off and got out of the car. I’m prettt sure it was only once plugged in and not when I was running errands earlier. I noticed thanks to the app.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it due to potential heat from charging later tonight? Will it always happen and nothing to worry about?

It’s finally home. Just picked up last night. Have not spent much time figuring everything. Will do Ppf and then post more pictures.

Beautiful. Congratulations. Long wait, but I'm sure definitely worth it.

SSG and coffee merino? Great combo. Please post pics after PPF. Hard to imagine it looking any better than this, but extra protection certainly worth the peace of mind.

Its a SSG with coffee merino leather. I was a little worried about the combo but it worked out very good.

We're twinning!!! except for your M60 vs my 50e. But i used 0 gas getting to work 22 miles away this morning... i've fallen in love faster than i did with my wife! lol

Gorgeous. The Coffee interior seems way underused. It is classy and elegant, and looks great with a number of exteriors, SSG being one of them. Yet I had difficulty finding good pics of it prior to ordering.

Finally yes. Returning from trip as we speak to deal with minor family issue. Rescheduled with dealer to pick up car tomorrow Friday afternoon. Will post pics in week 39 thread as soon as I can.

It will be nice to join the rest of you lucky sots. Congratulations to all.

Ordering 40i next week. Have the same ext. color but was going to diff. int. color. Now I want this ^^

My wife went back and forth between SSG and CBM exterior. Our customer advisor really liked SSG, and highly recommended the coffee merino with it. We ended up with CBM, but did take his advice wrt the coffee merino. Looks fantastic. Will post pics when we pick it up later today.

To me the coffee just looks elegant, with a little more eye interest than black, but without the somewhat jarring visual sense of either totufu or ivory. All look great though.

Totufu was my personal favorite though. Added a little contrast and pop that works really well with a number of the ext colors.

Awesome, looking forward to the interior pictures. I played with buildyourown on bmwusa.com and could not decide which trim would look best with coffee int. Don't want glossy trim. My last 3 X5's have the same glossy trim..lol

Would love to see which trim you and the others selected and how it look with coffee int.

We ended up with the carbon fiber trim. The gloss brown wood trim seems to be the most popular with coffee.

I will probably wait until ceramic coating is done Thursday to post pics. Lighting in dealership delivery bay was horrible, and car picked up a lot of mud on drive home.
