Last year my wife and I purchased a 2023 X5 M50i. It’s a fantastic car. So much so that I decided that I wanted one myself. After a long line of sports cars and a rather long hiatus from the BMW ///M brand I decided to take the plunge. Looking forward to this one. It’s been a minute. Isle of Man Green. Taruma Brown.

My order status just went to 150 and looks like I have a production date of 10/11/23. Have you received a production date for your week 41 build as well?

That’s awesome! Hopefully it won’t be much longer for you to receive it. It’s only been about 3 weeks for me, but feels like forever- hah.

They told me I am set for week 41 build (October 1st I believe from my stalking skills lol) or first week in October.... do you know what the general time frame is from when it starts in the assembly line and arrives at dealership?

Welcome to the forum. The timing would depend on your location and the availability of a carrier. In your case since you are in Florida if everything lines up you should get it a couple of days after your assembly date. That said, lately there have been some delays in getting a carrier so it may be a few days longer.

Since you are in Production Begins you can use the "F12" process (link below) to look at the data behind the MyGarage screen to get your assembly date. In case you don't know, Production Begins does not mean that assembly has begin but rather that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. Actual assembly takes less than a day.

Not sure if this is allowed to be posted but all I see is this.... the only date I see is under "External" not "Forward".... is this normal?

You are under Headers, try going to Response.

That is a different result. Looks like you may be on the detail screen rather than the first screen. It look like you have a different version of Chrome than I do but you should be able to use the steps and see the data. Make sure you wait until the refresh is complete before looking for the data.

If you still have problems then post or PM me your VIN and I will get your data.

I'm week 41 too . 10/10 buid date . I have PDC setup for 11/2 but I'm not sure if I want to wait that long

Also week 41 here, it has been showing in the queue for production since Monday 9/25. Hoping it gets built this week but great to hear some of you all are in the same boat.
This will be my very first BMW and so to say I’m excited is an understatement. The refresh button is getting worn out already.
Any other Colorado owners with info on what to expect for transit time?

You can use the "F12" process to get the production date. It will save your finger from clicking refresh so much.
