I’ve found someone with a complete wing mirror from an f15. Would this fit? Grateful for any advice. Thanks!
I have replaced the outer ring as mine got cracked, so yes you can do it. I had replaced mine a while ago so I don’t remember how but I’m sure you can look it up online. There are videos on YouTube how to remove the mirror without damaging it and how to replace the outer ring. Good luck.

Just so everyone is aware, found these on Amazon (AMOPA 2X Side Rear View Mirror Cover Cap + 2pcs Support Trim Ring Compatible with BMW) $100 gloss black. I tried to attach the link, however it would not work. Figured why not I’ll try them out for the price considering some go for $450.

We’ll they came in today and the plastic quality seems to be the same if not better then OEM. Not sure how the finish will hold up, but I’ll find out and update in a few months. Easy install and everything lined up perfectly.

why did you purchase the kit instead of just the ///M style caps? 5 minutes per side… I purchased these:

nZtiZia personal preference. Personally I like how the housing matchs with the cap and gives it a more defined look. I noticed on the caps it has a smaller “arch” (not sure what you would call it).

Mikemann Same install as mentioned in the original post to this tread. Took me about 20 minutes one side until I understood how everything came apart and then 10 minutes the other side. It does involve removing the mirror glass, so depending how comfortable you are with your mechanical skills. Overall I’m very happy with the result. If you need any further instructions I’ll try to make a video to help you out further.

side note: I don’t recommended splurging on OEM M Performance carbon fiber side mirror caps. after initial ppf installation didn’t take well due to their curvature, I had them ceramic coated, but they delaminated in less than three years.

I had RW carbon caps on my F85 and those delaminated in about 1.5 years. I went for the oem route this time on the F95 and so far so good.
