X5 G05 *LENGTH* when the tailgate is down/open?

Hi Folks,
Apologies if the question/answer has already been posted. I see questions re: "trunk space" but not length of X5 with the tail gate down/open. Reason for my ask: Just checking to see if there's enough room in my garage for the X5 to fit *and* also have space for the tailgate to open with the garage door still closed.
Looks like the X5 Length is 193.8 inches, but just not sure how much longer with tailgate down. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It is difficult to get precise, but I would say the lower tailgate would add 6 to 7 inches to the length. The upper tailgate might add 4 to 5 inches to that.

My crude measurement tells me it is about a foot. As previous poster mentioned the upper tailgate extends longer.

204" with the tailgates open. Give or take a few for eye ball and tape measure.

Your info helps me anticipate the amount of stuff I'm going to have to move out of the way when I'm finally lucky enough to bring the X5 home.
