G06 Sunglass holder missing
Picked up my X6 M50i yesterday and traded in my ultra reliable 2014 F15. Can't seem to find the sunglass holder that comes in every vehicle made, I think. Owners manual is no help either. I know it's gotta be here somewhere.

I don't think there's one. There wasn't one in my F25 either. I store them in the central armrest.

nope - no sunglass holder. I did see somewhere a retrofit where you can swap out the driver's side grab bar with a sunglass case. Seemed like an interesting concept.

If you don’t see it mentioned in the owners manual...more than likely you’ll have to pick a location to store them. Again, there are storage compartments in various locations around the vehicle. If you were to look inside my X5...there’s a case in the driver’s door compartment holding a pair of sunglasses. If you were to look inside my 650ix GC...if you open the armrest in the center console...you’ll find a case there holding a pair of sunglasses.

I just use the centre armrest - as per others.
Sunglass holders can be problematic. I used to have one in my 2009 Toyota Kluger (Highlander), and my Raybans used to rattle in there when not in use (like at night). It was a pain... |

If the F15 had it I must have missed it. Same goes for the E70 and E53.
I just use the slot in front of the shift lever where the G05 has the wireless charger. |

I think the pre facelift e53 X5 did have a compartment for holding sunglasses in the overhead console...but when the facelift came and the panoramic sunroof replaced the smaller moonroof...the overhead compartment for storing sunglasses went away. If you have a facelift e53 built prior to the introduction of the pano sunroof...then you may have the compartment for holding sunglasses.
