BMW Voice assistant bug
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
"Hey BMW" Works fine However the BMW voice assistant button on the steering wheel will activate voice assistant on Idrive but the microphone does not seem to be functioning/picking up my voice at all. I'm thinking the button isn't hooked up properly to the microphone or something. Anyone experience this / had it solved for them? Thanks |

Have you reset Idrive by holding down the power button for 30 sec?

This might be a long shot, have you tried increasing the volume or sensitivity of your microphone? I know you can do this for phone calls, but wondering if it also applies to voice commands. Also the voice assistant does occasionally have issues with the Ozzie accent, so I find you need to slow down, speak loud and clearly. |

No issues at all with voice command now that I am on Nov firmware. It’s so sensitive I had to change my wake up word as a slight slip of the code word in conversation would have the system come alive. On our last road trip I settled on the wake up word “Rapunzel”.
