Protect seats from child seat
Does anyone use anything or have any ideas of how to protect the seats from wear and tear from a child seat? It will attach using the latch / isofix anchors but I'm concerned that over time it will rub and wear the leather, particularly on the backrest.
I was thinking of a blanket or similar. My missus suggested trying a flexible silicon drawer liner as it might offer more grip. You can buy this in rolls from hardware stores. |

Brica on the seat backs and munchkin under the car seats. We did buy another brand that didn't fit well and returned them and these worked the best.

we don't put anything under our car seats as they can slip and prevent the car seat from working properly.
we use the seats as they are crash tested - directly on the seating surface. we do, however, put a cover on the back only of the rear seat (for rear facing) and then a cover on the back of front seat (for forward facing) my 2c |

PRECISELY, but some worry so much they can never be safe enough. I have some inlaws like this. Must be exhausting...

Check if your seat manufacturer even allows a protector, if they do then they will recommend one that works for that seat. These protectors alter the crash performance of the child safety seat.

Kids are so messy and hard on car interiors.
I used these in my F80 M3 and transferred them over to my G05 X5. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |
