Black Sensatec

Anyone have pictures of black sensatec in the G05? Front and back seats?

No arguments here that sensa is equivalent to the luxurious leather interiors I see posted by many here but I’ve had it before and it worked for me... rather spring for a few other options!

I have it and I have no complaints. I'll try to take some pics and post it. My F15 also had sensatec. I like the durability since I have 3 young boys.

Curious if sensatec eradicates wrinklegate of the seats.

The sensatec on the older X5s (last gen) was awful. Looked and felt so cheap. I had a loanerwith it and it literally ruined the cars otherwise nice interior. If it's the same on the G05, leather is worth every penny. Looks so much nicer.

I think there is reason to be optimistic. I sat in a 2019 X3 recently with Sensatec and it felt great. My first reaction was this must be an upgraded leather as it felt so soft. I was very surprised to learn it was Sensatec.

Fingers crossed for a similar result in the X5...

I agree. I went with the merino but when I was in showroom trying to see what Varnasca felt like I mistook sensatec for a nicer leather on the new X3. I honestly think the senstec is a better looking and feeling option compared to Dakota/nevada leathers. I never did get to feel varnasca lol. Obviously nowhere near as nice the merino but if durability is primary concern sensatec is a very good option

I saw it in a 2018 x5 and that I would think is the same as in the x3 you saw. It was horrible looking in my opinion. But if you like it go for it. Durability wise the leather in bmws ages very well I've never had any issues or concerns and have a 10 year old x5 before this one.
