It's so great. Also bay area, have been using it on 101 every night. It's such a magical experience.
My complaint is that the ACC w/steering at high speeds feels very much like autopia at Disneyland, as you bounce back and forth across the lane when you're going quickly. Given you have to check in with it every 15 seconds, I've started just using the ACC without steering, as it was in the F15 for high speeds. |

I have .35 and when using ACC and lane assistance the last two days, there were some 'bouncing' issues although they are not extreme. This is 70+ on turnpike and 48 MPH on surface streets.

The bouncing between lane markers happens to me every now and then and usually coming out of curve. I just change the mode for a minute and then change it back. Problem solved. The lane makers here in Arkansas are really faint in some areas. Not good for self steering cars. Major improvement in lane marking is needed. The car really jerks when a lane marker is missing on entrance and exit ramps. Wants to move to the middle of the markers on the highway and the right edge of the ramps.

Have you tried it on roads with intersections? When I cross an intersection on .44, about half the time it gives up and hands the steering back to me presumably because of the brief absence of lane markers.

Was there not another thread about ACC not braking for a stopped vehicle at a red light? I thought I saw something like that when I was in China.
