The bottom line is what counts. USAA discount changed for the worst for us but after the dealer discount below invoice, their fees, etc. I'm still getting the build for 11.9% below MSRP, which is unheard of. Sales manager told me that whatever we agreed to way back when is what I pay. The finance manager is the one that has to fanagle the numbers. Folks should be concerned only with the bottom line. Got a call in to see when we can pick it up next week. Another offer that is going to be hard to pass up (just in case we reject the car based on bad wrinkled rear seats and such) is they gave us top dollar on our Lexus trade in. That means less sales tax to pay. |

You CAN say no, like I used to all those cheesey packs - rust through protection, seat protection, paint sealant. Salesman - "but the car comes with all those treatments which are applied at the port". |

Please elaborate. How do you pay lower sales tax - on your invoice it comes to around 5.89%.

In MD it's a $299 doc fee plus 6% tax on the selling price less the value of your trade if you have one.
