Thanks for the forum tip!

I get mine tomorrow, also. The grille was the only thing I skipped, since I will be painting (initially) or replacing (if the painting sucks).

mine is from IND and painted black so when rocks inevitably hit I'll see chrome which is why I wanted it wrapped

Has anyone done a full body PPF? Front, sides, top, back, entire car? I imagine that would be pricy.

Did you go all black on the grill or just partial? I've been waiting to see a PB one with black grill before either wrapping or replacing with black.

FYI I purchased the BMW ceramic package which includes ceramic coating on the outside and a coating on the inside that would also cover rips/ stains on the leather.

It was $950 + tax.

No, it was called "NanoCure Ceramic Auto Apperance Protection & Carpet & Fabric and/ or Leather & Vinyl Protectant"

It's a ceramic coating for the outside and then they spray the seats with something else, I dunno. We got it because we have dogs and they said if a nail or tooth scratches/ pierces the seat, if they can't fix it where you can't tell it happened, they will replace the seat/ leather.

I wanted a ceramic coating anyway and the local guy I go to was around the same price, so it made sense to just get it all in one package. Pretty happy with it, however, it hasn't been done yet. I am waiting to schedule it for better weather as they do a full detail of the car too.

Optimum Rinseless wash

https://www.amazon.com/Optimum-NR201...rch&th=1&psc=1

Most recently these microfiber clothes thanks to Mystro
https://www.autogeek.net/quick-detail-towel-6.html

I also use these: https://adamspolishes.com/shop/acces...ber-towel.html

Then for wash mitt it varies, I sometimes use the microfiber cloths but also use this:
https://adamspolishes.com/adam-s-wash-mitt.html

I won't be waxing or doing anything else since my front wrap is Suntek (I prefer the over XPEL now) and Feynlabs Ceramic so aside from the Rinseless wash via the two bucket method and stuff I also use a detail spray for quick touch ups.

I shouldn't need any wheel cleaners because of the ceramic I hope but I've used the Griotts BBS approved one without a problem in the past.
Thanks for these suggestions, I've ordered the Optimum No Rinse and the towels/mitts. I also got a spray bottle after reading about using ONR in spray is great for quick touch ups!

Do you have anything like these dusters to clean console (around shifter) and other areas that a cloth will have trouble cleaning?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014GNQO38/

That's just something I found as an example on Amazon, I don't have any info that it's a good product.

I literally use a swiffer that I keep in the drivers side door, when it gets dirty (usually every week) I change the duster part out. It's inexpensive and works for me. I recommend doing the same but those dusters should also work. I have a giant California duster for the exterior that I'll occasionally use when the car is only dusty outside

i went through this entire thread. I feel PPF is a must. And there are two brands: Expel and Suntek. Not sure which one is better. I hope I am understanding correctly.
Also, can the dealer get the PPF and Ceramic Coating done before delivery? Or I have to take to a local shop?

XPEL doesn't make their own film, Suntek does

No, don't trust the dealer with any of that, find a good shop and get it done there. Any dealer will overcharge and do a poor job or use the same shop you would at a higher price

I can't justify spending all that money for PPF on a lease but applying ceramic is feasible. I was told by friend it can be done for $500 (not totally sure what that includes as I'm not familiar with process and have spent morning reading this forum and thus leading me to post now).
I don't wash my cars at home, always go to the same hand car wash. If this is my routine, do you guys still recommend getting the ceramic in my case?
