Was it all staged? You smell me. Who says, "oh no, oh no" when heading into a tire wall at 170mph [in the original video] instead of saying "Oh Sh_t" or worse?? Not even a scream right before the impact.. Then there's the original video editing and Police on site at the track....

For me, after him walking through the incident, I really don't see how he's as bad as everyone is making him out to be. He owned up to the DOT3 fiasco. I didn't get into the details prior to this video with what he did to the brakes and after watching this video, he was doing what he should be doing with upgrading the brake hardware.

As to who says "Oh no oh no", it depends on the person. I've had some Oh $hit moments on the track on a motorcycle and I never said a word under my helmet. One where I carried way too much speed into turn 7 at VIR and almost became one with my riding coach as I was staring right at his rear tire leaned over. Then proceeded to pick up my bike in an off camber corner going straight down the hill in the run off area.

Going 170 on DRAG SLICKS with a brand new brake kit on lap 2?

I'd smack the crap out of my track buddies for saying they were going to do that on a new set of PADS, let alone a new set of rotors, calipers, and pads. And I'd do it to keep them ALIVE because I care about them.

This decision making process was BAD BAD BAD. Staged? Maybe. I hope somebody on track doesn't have that bad of judgement. I don't wanna share the track with them if they do.
