I'm still enjoying my 1er very much but as a next car..... definitely thinking about it. Thought about the TTRS as well and since there's a high chance that's also coming to Canada..... more options for me to chose from when I'm good and ready for another car.

I worked with a guy with a B7 RS4 and it made noises that an E46 M3 could only dream of. I'd be all over an RS5 for $65k, but suspect that once you add the sport diff and a few other options, it will be close to $80k, and that's too deep into more interesting car pricing.

Too much going on with the exterior IMO. I like the looks of my S5 Vert better. I just wish I had those seats and steering wheel.

it's almost identical to the S5 and shares over 75% of its parts between the two cars.
BMW created the M3 utilizing only 20% of parts being shared between the 335I....the exterior shares the windshield, rear window, tail lights, headlights and trunk lid...everything else is different.
RS5 has fail written all over it......too heavy....too pricey...same song and dance by Audi....FAIL!

I would love to know where you got the info on 75% considering those two engines (S5 vs RS5) don't even share 75% of parts.

Why not accept that Audi also make great cars. Even a die-hard Audi nut like me (according to you) can praise BMW products and view them as exceptional, surely similar praise should be capable from youself.

Because he owns an M3 and doesnt want to accept that perhaps the RS5 surpasses it in almost every category.

I'd agree with a base of $73K and a normally optioned price in the mid-80's. The next M3 will fall in line. It's the same pricing progression we saw with the E46 M3 and the last generation RS4.

This will also allow BMW to introduce the 1M somewhere around $50K or so.

1M - $50 (base) to $65 (optioned)
M3 - $70 (base) to $85K (optioned)
M5/M6 - $90 (M5 base) to $100+ (M6 & M5 optioned)

Nevermind, he was let go by Fifth Gear as a host, and hired on by Top Gear as a writer (not host).

Again, I just quoted the numbers published by R&T. I just think is funny that car prices keep going up and house prices are going down Yes, the 330 is a nice car and I'm enjoying it.
