You're forgetting the $25 surcharge to have the BMW logo on it. C'mon.

My F15 X5 came with the all weather mats. I kept them when I turned in the vehicle and put back in the normal mats. The first row fits more or less in the G05 - the driver one fits almost perfectly. The second row does not. The cargo mat - not even close.

pros/cons for mats vs. liners? liners extend further up on the sides which makes it sound like the "better" option, but are there any cons to this?

you guys know if those tablet seat back holder things will work in x7 as well? is it same attachment? specifically part 51 95 2 408 224

looks to me like it's universal and will work, and that you can use it without the tablet specific safety cases they sell

Has anyone purchase the rear seat iPad mounts? If so, thoughts. I can’t even find the iPad mini mount on the bmw part site.

Have you tried eBay? I bought the travel and comfort coat hanger by searching for the part number there

Nothing there. The accessories that click into the back of the seats don't seem to exist yet.

BMW, Mercedes and Land Rover all sell the same system and it is compatible across brands.

The only ipad holders I am seeing are the ones that wrap around the metal part of the headrest. Isn't the 'clip in' on the back side of the front seats new this year? If not, any idea which is compatible with an Ipad Air?

I haven’t used this system yet but part 51-95-2-408-224 seems to be all you need. Don’t buy the 65 dollar cases that are tablet specific.

That part should hold any tablet, I believe. Msrp 144. According to the pdf on page one this is something that plugs in to the integrated female part on the seat back

BMW has been using the travel and comfort system for years, but you had to buy a base receptacle that mounted to the head rest posts that had the same female receptacle. At the dealer, the new partnumber for the hook thing didn't pull up but the old one for other models like the F15 (51 95 2 183 855) works great, only difference is G05 one is all black, F15 one has some silver trim on it. So all the travel and comfort stuff will work from the older models that required you to purchase a base unit and then the accessories, we just don't need the base unit (or you can buy the mercedes or landrover parts also)

I am trying to find the answer for this as well.
It seems the case is required.
