2009 FX35

Hi guys,

Do any of you own an FX35 or have driven one? What are your driving impressions?
What about the interior fit and finish?

Would appreciate your feedback.

Looks much nicer than the old one. Also about 100% better in person than in photos.

I saw one in person as well, and I have to say my initial impressions of it being ugly (from the pics) have been shattered.

Its quite a striking car. Not the best looking. But somewhat like that chick in class who was not the classic beauty an had a few flaws, but was still very doable.

have to say with the lights on it looks quite modern. makes the last one outdated. inside is much more upscale. the one i drove had the diamond quilted seats and it was really nice. got to try the 360deg camera views and was quite nice. compared to my 3.0 X5, it drove much more like a car. its smaller than the X5, but still roomy.

the old FX was the nicest looking SUV, now it is ugly as sin. it used to look like a cheetah, now it looks like an alligator.

How's that even possible in an SUV? Wouldn't the (relatively) floppy suspension make it understeer if anything?

Hey zetaxi ....how u doin??? Anyway....I totally agree with you on the looks....I saw a white FX35 on road the other day and, it looks 100times better in real then in pics. It's still ugly though

About the FX35, I have seen so many of the old FX35 or FX45s speeding by or going into curves with great speed. By the looks of the speeding FX35's, it must be a great handling CUV.And I also heard that the ride on the old FX35 is really harsh but they have made it better on the new model.(I read reviews)
You should test drive one and share your thoughts

So when you say drifting, you mean a controlled slide right? Not just some kick-the-tail-out for a second thing.

I did test drive the old one before I bought the 335 and they could handle really well. The old ones are pretty good looking cars.

I thought they had messed it up completely with the new one but when I saw the one in person, I was surprised that it actually didn't look that bad - still not as good as the new one but it wasn't bad at all.

But what has me drooling is that all cream interior of the FX. Seriously beautiful.
