I suppose this is the "flagship" color from a branding perspective. It's stunning and can't wait to see in person.

Do not order this color, before you see it in person...it is called Individual for a good reason..its not for everyone and you need to see it...you might be disappointed as well as thrilled...so think twice before ordering Individual color...that my 0.02c.

Tanzanite is amazing ONLY when there is natural sunlight hitting the paint. Its one of the best blues in the right conditions. In dark/cloudy days it almost looks like carbon black which is underwhelming in my opinion for a up charge color.

I still can't get over the staggered diameter 21/22 inch wheels that BMW has chosen to put on the M vehicles. I'm sure it's purposely an engineering/dynamics reason to give it the best possible handling in the entire G05/06 range, but aesthetically it just doesn't look right.

I was about to order a tanzanite blue until I saw it in person at the dealer. Like Alan said above, the color looks amazing when light is hitting it. But when it's not, it just looks like a carbon black.

I was thinking about Tanzanite Blue II also, and based on the press photos, it looks like a very nice blue, but too dark in certain lights for my taste. The Marina Bay Blue looks like a more vibrant blue, and reminds me of my Interlagos Blue M3.

The dealer showed me an 8 series in tanzanite and a M5 in Marina Bay blue...I ended up going with Marina Bay. Much more vibrant
