status 150 (week 33)

I’ve been in this spot for a week. And hate to admit I open the site and relook 2-3 times/day.

His long will it stay in the third dot and if I open the site and it’s there in the morning, do they update throughout the day or once every 24 hours?

The status is updated throughout the day. No need to look at anything until your production date so you have another week or so yet.

Production date- 8/14/23
Called BMW Genius today to ask about estimated dealership arrival. They have no answer, they only told me that my car will compelte prodution by today.

Impossible to know for sure. I am also in NY. Estimate Could be as early as Thursday or Friday this week. Just as easily might be next week. Depends on quality check length (can be really quick but some people have randomly got held up for no given reason) and also truck availability. NY is a high volume area for trucks naturally so I would imagine dealer arrival would be late this week.

Welcome to the forum. You will want to create an account on mybmw.com and then go to MyGarage and enter in your production number or VIN if you have once already. That will show the status of your order/build. To get your build week you can ask your CA or give Genius a call. Once you go into the Production Begins status, you can use the "F12" process (see link below) to get your production date. Production Begins does not mean that assembly has started but rather that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated.

Probably someone but it could be anywhere from tomorrow to two weeks or so. At this point it is all a matter of when a truck is available and with the problems in that industry the timing has become very variable.

There’s really no way to know an exact time. I know some forum members have had their car shipped two days after production and that’s awesome - my dealer (colorado) texted me today as she shared the screenshot showing estimated ship from VPC was 8/9 (prod 8/7) but it’s still awaiting carrier assignment on my screen.

Her text :

“Yeah we have seen our cars being assigned to carriers lately 1-2 weeks before actually moving. On top of that last month we hardly had a single vehicle show up on week 3 of July and 35 on the last week of the month 🫣”

So basically nothing I can do and I need to stop tracking it. Lol. So hard!
