Do you have resonators on there or did you remove those? Sounds good.

hard to tell in video but would you say that the downpipes made a pretty significant difference in sound?

Oh yeah the sound is way louder specially when it's under load and you can hear the turbo spool but in idle rpm it sounds like stock exhaust, I kinda like it that when I drive home late night it doesn't bother me neighbors lol, my exhaust flaps are also wide open coz Its fitted with dahler exhaust flap module .I realized that if you want X5M or M5 kinda sound you need a good muffler but I'm happy with this much sound.
Now I have to deal with Cel code plus I noticed that mpg dropped specially in city and street driving conditions, I think it's running rich.
It's extremely hard to find good information about M50i models regarding all these things so I think I'm a guinea pig 🤣 , let's see where my experiment ends ....
I'll keep updating my experience

I have the VSRF Catless Downpipes and went with bootmod3 for the cel fix. No issues so far and have recently taken a 1000 mile round trip with zero issues.

I also have a valve controller so that's good to know. How much worse is the gas mileage? I wonder if when the spacer for the o2 sensor is in if that will help that.

So the gas mileage I noticed only drops in streets/city driving when we are driving in low gears stop and go kinda situations compared to when it was all stock but on freeway mpg is exactly same It didn't dropped at all , I think it has to do something with engine try to run rich because it's not getting right signal from 02 sensors. My Mil kit is arriving today and after installation I'll check if mpg improves or not I'll keep updating.
Spacers doesn't work in these cars , I tried it and technician told that sensors are very sensitive and that's why they don't work.

Gotcha. What I'm most curious about is if the mil kit will get that rich idle fixed a bit. In an ideal world you can do catless downpipes without a tune and not have a cel and that rich air/fuel ratio..

It's leib engineering Mil delete kit, I purchased straight from there website, mileage is more or less the same like when my car was stock , it's little less I'm not sure if it's downpipes or I'm revving hard lol and also I have piggy bag tuner installed so lots of factors are there but nothing major that's for sure .
$600 is a good price for dp installation coz I paid $500 and it an around 4 to 5 hours job specially the passenger side dp takes more time to take it out compare to driver side.
Let me know if you need more info.

I took it to a shop for installation coz I don't wanna mess up BCM wiring by myself lol but if you are comfortable with doing wiring then you can download the installation PDF from there website , as per there website it doesn't required a professional technician to install that kit.

You are welcome bro, there are 2 types of kit available just ask for the normal version kit coz the pro version is over 700 Euro's and the extra features is not worth the price of you already have any module to open your exhaust flaps . I paid 299 euros plus tax and now I think they raised the price . Lmk if you need any more info
Good luck
