Unfortunately I didn't really have the time to queue.
Every F1 driver was there, so it was a bit chaotic with a lot of the guests trying to go out with as many drivers as possible.
I just picked the shortest queue...Brundle...who was pretty scary, never seemed to use the brakes - just chucked the car sideways to scrub speed off for turns - or even look where we were going, just chatted about F1.

My absolute idol. Holding back tears as I write this.
Honestly, any time anything Senna related comes up, I tear up...

Made our humble people PROUD!
R.I.P.

- Leo.
He suffered 2 fatal injuries.

Basal skull fracture from the collision with the wall/tire impact to his head. Suspension A-arm pierced his helmet.

As determined by the Italian legal system, the cause was a broken steering column. Patrick Head and Adrian Newey (yes, that Adrian Newey) were tried for manslaughter. Newey was acquitted, but later under appeal, Head was found to be guilty of negligent homicide/manslaughter, but no penalty was given, as the statue of limitations had expired by the time the trial was completed.

The car was returned to Williams in 2002 and destroyed, Senna's helmet was sent to Bell, who studied it and then destroyed it. Engine was returned to Renault and the status is unknown.
To destroy such history 😔😢😔

Comparing with piloting an F22?...stroll on.
You're hilarious. There is a difference between going for a gap and a deliberate crash. Why don't you read about the things Anthony Hamilton and Lewis endured before going off on another incorrect tangent. Do you know that SEN was from a wealthy family? You literally have everything upside down. It's shocking.

I'm shocked that Williams destroyed the car, they could have sent it to Sao Paolo but then that's what Ferrari did to all of their shark nose 156 cars later after the '61 horror crash with von Trips and Clark.

So what if Senna was from a wealthy family? What's that got to do with it and for your information I met Anthony at Brands Hatch at a BTCC meet quite a few years ago when his other son was competing in a race and I asked him how it's been coming up, he replied that 'it could have been better' smiling!
So,many people started from humble beginnings,Mansell was one scrimping and saving HIMSELF from his window cleaners job in Birmingham so he could get where he was in F1 and US.
Your getting egg on your face mate.

OMG. You just said that HAM had everything laid out before him. So did Senna yet you didn't mention that. Your double standards are absolutely the worst I've ever seen.

Egg on my face? You have an entire flock of chickens sitting on yours. And it's not eggs they're leaving behind.

Your bias is embarrassing. Your hatred of HAM has destroyed any semblance of fair play the you may have once possessed.

According to court documents, it was in a "significant state of disrepair". The crash and subsequent investigation mostly destroyed the car, not to mention that it probably had a not insignificant amount of "biological material" on it.

I don't think it's shocking to have destroyed the car. It's not like there were any happy memories associated with that chassis (3x poles, 3x DNF including Imola). It would be morbid to keep it I would think.

They did of course keep the other FW16 chassis.

Lol. I'm getting factual with you. Mansell is a single WDC winner. An amazing achievement and he did it under tough circumstances but he really isn't eligible though I admire him, as well as SEN, without qualification.

It's not all about scores, just admit that HAM has had it easy tallying up his score with a superior car,as Sir Jackie has said and don't pour scorn on those who say it's mostly the car.

Hamilton had knocked Nico for his family’s status during the 2016 season which was just ridiculous, if psychological gaming for battle or what Hamilton perceived as a legitimate argument.

My response was to the post about Hamilton relaying about getting racially taunted in karting.

Hamilton by all accounts had a childhood the masses could only dream about.

Mate honestly ! You guys have no idea of what you are talking about !
MAX is born 17 km from my home in Belgium (Hasselt) I see 5 days a week his parental home here in Belgium in his hometown !

MAX won his first F1 race without driver license in 2016 . MAX was 17 !
He got his theoretical and practical driver license exam not far from my home here in Belgium .
You know why he got his driver license here in Belgium ?

Because MAX's ID is Belgian ,and his civilian driver license is Belgian , because MAX is born in Belgium !
His "F1 driver license" is Dutch just like his dad is ,It's regarding financial speculation because the Belgian taxes are insane !
Once and for all . So it is and not otherwise ...
I know MAX . I met MAX . Saw him racing at the kart circuit in Genk (Belgium)
MAX got his first kart when he was 4 . He drove his first kart competition race when he was 6 .
MAX won everything...

I doubt many people dream of being:
The son of a black father and a white mother, who survived a broken home in his youth, Hamilton grew up on a municipal housing estate in Stevenage where his father Anthony at one time held down three jobs to fund his son’s embryonic racing career in karts.

Not the usual entitled rich kid who have their journey into F1 paved into F1 with daddies money....talented or not.

Got to love a rich dad who can relive his very average F1 career vicariously through his son.
You would have thought that with all the advantages M Verstappen had he would have done a lot better than coming second best to Ricciardo in their couple of years together.
