With the last few iterations of BimmerCode, you can code the ///M logo using the Basic Mode (no need for the Expert Mode). So instead of this code (3001 KI_PARAMETER > LOGO_SCHRIFTZUG > MSP_LOGO) you can just select INSTRUMENT CLUSTER > LAYOUT > M SPORT.
I also notice that once you code the ///M logo (or any ///M logos) to show on the infotainment screen, if you switch the driving mode to Sport/Sport Plus/Sport Individual, you get the M-color bars showing between to the "0mph" and Speed Limit icon on the bottom left of your screen (see pic below). Pretty cool. No M-color bars with the standard screen (no ///M logo) when in Sport/Sport Plus/Sport Individual mode.

The closest match to the M font in the dash is if you code the layout to M mode. The digits on the HUD are the same font as the ones in the dash.

Not sure if that was your question or you are wondering how to connect to the ONBLINKMX+. In this case, plug the OBD in and open your Bluetooth. Select the OBD in your list and and start Bimmercode.

I strongly auggest you read the post in its entirety first to realize why somethings like gear selection and offset naming on cluster bother you or not.
Also you have no idea what mode you are in sport, eco, or confort etc. Was a no go for me. |
