Hi, I am looking to choose a car detailer near me. We want to have this done to spruce up the car. What types of questions would you ask them when interviewing? Thank you! The car is a 2024 X5 xDrive50e.

Okay, didn't know if you were looking for PPF/Ceramic or just a cleaning. I would ask what the package includes, what products they use and how they do it.

My BMW dealer office a full detail inside/out including engine for $299 on an X5. Maybe your's does too.

What is your budget and how OCD are you? That will dictate the services they'll perform and how much research you'll want to do on them.

Basic wash and wax/seal is simple, nearly anyone can do that including you.
Ceramic coating is next level up in price and complexity, especially if your want them to perform any paint correction before the coating. This can also be a DIY project, but will require investment in products and equipment.
PPF is next level, much higher cost and way more research required on your part.

Lots of shop and mobile detailers update their instagram accounts daily. You can check their accounts to see what services they perform and what kind of cars they work on.
