Is there a “headlight courtesy delay” setting in my 2024 x5 w/ iDrive 8.5? When I turn the car off the headlights immediately turn off. Most vehicles the headlights stay lit for a brief period of time. I’ve searched the settings and cannot find anything.

Try the pathway lighting.

The pathway lighting pattern (on the sides) stay on 30 seconds and can be adjusted but they don’t project forward if you are walking up a dark street, driveway or garage.

I see now. Looks like it has to be activated manually each time, versus staying on automatically after turning the engine off. I’ll just have to get used to that.
