Just got a brand new 2024 X5 50e. Minus a scare with the check engine light that went on for a few days, so far I'm loving it! That said, a few things so far that I wish it had:

-The app has preconditioning, but you can't really specify what temperature to set it to, what settings to use (e.g. turning on the window defroster), so having a bit more customizability would be great.

-I wish you could set the brake regen to be at max settings all the time. I know some hate it, but I actually like how Tesla allows you to drive with just the gas pedal and rarely have to use your brakes. Just having the option to turn it on/off would be nice.

What are the chances any of these things could happen via software updates down the line? Or would some of these things require hardware changes as well?
