Just downloaded the MyBMW app, newly released in the US, and noticed there's no Software Update section as there was under Info in the old ConnectedDrive app. I no longer have that section in ConnectedDrive now either, and I'm not sure if it's due to logging into the MyBMW app or if it was removed recently and I just hadn't noticed.

Is the Software Update section gone from the app(s) completely? How are OTA updates being done/notifications being received if no longer through the app?

Click Check Status in the upper left above the picture of the car, then click Services at the top of the next screen.

it's there. in the MyBMW app, tap on the image of your vehicle and tap on SERVICES. true, it's no longer on the Connected app. I don't know if this was a result of logging into the new app or an active deletion from BMW given recent reports of the OTA bricking vehicles (doubtful), which if true should be removed from the new app as well.

I use to be able to see the service levels but now I only see one thing which Engine Oil ok. No longer do I see the brake pad remaining usage, etc.

that's odd; mine still show. did u try a re-boot or reinstall of the app, or logout then login again?

One can add photo/avatar to profile now.

I just checked and it appeared. Also, my fuel finally updated. It's all good now.

Anyone else having trouble logging into the new app? When I load the old app, it tells me to open the new app, and forces me to re-login. and each time I get an error that says " error invalid token, the presented token is invalid or expired".
So i completely uninstalled both apps, and re-logged using the forgotten my password link.
Still - same error ? What the ?

no issues for me, and i go back and forth between both apps cuz i'm still learning the new one. i even just installed MyBMW on my wife's phone and set up her profile photo; also no issues perusing the different areas or logging in.

thanks - yeah I'm back to using the old app which is fine. I emailed the app developer found in the Android store. Who knows?

yes. underneath that bar where the lock, unlock, lights and climatize symbols are, there are pallets that swipe left and right. NOTE: MyBMW only saves one capture; the Gallery of saved captures has been removed, though it does retain the four individual camera views under DETAILS.

Is remote 3D available in the US?

what phone are you guys using? iPhone or Android? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 21 - I see in the Google store some android users having same issue as I am.

UPDATE - A response from BMW SW dev in the GOOGLE store, says their Dev team is aware of the "token" issue and working on a resolution. So, there it is, probably those with some Android (Samsung??) might have issues.

Anyone else having issues sending destinations to their car after using MyBMW app? I am logged in, my profile picture is visible. However when I go to received destinations on Nav, it prompts me to click into ConnectedDrive, and then it says I need to log in. Any other place to log in? My profile is clearly linked. I tried removing and re-adding with MyBMW app using the QR code and besides losing some settings nothing else happened.

I was having this issue. A reboot of iDrive fixed it for me.

I just sent a Lowe's address to my 45e on 11/2020.64. I don't recall having to click on the BMW Connected icon before with just the Connected app on my iPhone 12 Pro, but after clicking on it, all my received destinations popped up without a need to enter login credentials. was that icon there before the MyBMW app?

That worked, thanks! For anyone else, the reboot means pushing the volume/power knob in for 30 seconds.

Lol that was my issue...it was not obvious those slid like that.

I'm using an iPhone 12 w/14.4.2
