bought a x5 with 5k miles in the clock with comfort visibility and tech and msport pro pack and 7 seats(mentioned this info because Don't know if this is relevant) weeks ago from approved used bmw dealer.
just realised No boot liner in the car. Did your cars come with one?
Is it worth chasing up with them?

You have to buy the liner separately. There are two versions. A normal one and a shorter one for cats with the automatic luggage covers. I don't know if that one also fits the 7 seater.

I have it in my car. Good to have when picking up the kids after sport and putting their stuff in the trunk or hiking boots, ski gear, ...

I guess it depends what you want to carry around if it is useful for you. I also have the 4 all weather mats.

This summer I took it out of the trunk for the holiday because it was easier to slide the suitcases in without the liner and also a bit more room.

It doesn't come with a boot mat as mentioned already. There is a bigger mat (5 seat) or small mat (7 seat), but BMW don't do a fitted mat for the 7 seater from row 2 (ie with the 3 row down). The standard 5 seat mat will fit, the only difference is the third row seat belts poke up the side of the mat.

The after market suppliers have a better boot fit IMO. Weathertech do a fitted mat for the 7 seater (from row 2) but I never had luck being outside the US.

The other thing to look out for is if you have the luggage package with the electric boot cover. That's another world of pain as the cover seems to retract into a compartment at the back of the boot. Not an option I have so I never had to negotiate that one.

I posted another thread a few months back with some pics but can't find it at the moment as surfing on my phone.

You wouldn’t happen to have an image of the OEM boot mat for the two-row vehicle fitted to a three-row vehicle while the seats are stowed?
