I set my to Adaptive as well.

My perception is that Sport+ is greater than Sport Individual all turned up to Sport+ settings — I don't think these are equivalent.

I put the engine in Sport+ and the Transmission to Comfort and everything else to Sport. I like the exhaust sound on Sport+.

Sport+ can be coded in Expert Mode as follows:

BDC ECU
Expert Mode
search for FesPiaDefaultLastUserMode
change it to 02 for Sport+

Note: per @james_G0530d, with great power comes great responsibility -- if you code Sport+ start mode, take care to not rev high from cold. It takes some self-control, but no different than older M cars required.

A more complete but still partial table for FesPiaDefaultLastUserMode modes is as follows (there are additional PHEV, etc. modes as well):

01 = Sport
02 = Sport Pro/Plus
03 = Sport Individual
04 = Comfort
05 = Comfort Plus
06 = Comfort Individual
07 = Eco
08 = Eco Plus
09 = Eco Individual
0A = Adaptive

Curious what comfort plus drive mode is. I don't have it but now my curiosity is peaked.

I was able to code Adaptive as default but noticed that my 3.4 (IOS) backups are gone. The only backup available is the one from yesterday's. I managed to store 3.4 backups in iTunes long time back and another on separate drive. Will it work if I copy the 3.4 backups to 3.5 in iTunes, sync to iPhone and use the backup to restore my car to stock?

Seems the answer to my question is yes, per BC quick start guide.

I my opinion if the car didn't come with Sport+ or Comfort+ factory installed, probably, activating those options will make no difference, I tested Sport+ on my G05-30d and didn't notice any difference against factory Sport.

It's probably best to not assume that the website is fully sync'd with the app. Stephan has hundreds of model vs geography vs ISTEP version permutations to keep track off, as well as both iOS and Android apps — it is unlikely he can keep it sync'd.

Can someone explain the Brake Force display options? I see there are multiple options at differing speeds initiates something. I'm not clear what that something is or where is it displayed or anything along those options.

Yes. This video demonstrates it well. I don't believe it is legal in US and Canada and possibly elsewhere and cops do occasionally like to ticket such.

When using BC it shows speed settings, anyone have opinions on good choice for Brake Force? Low speed High speed . Is there a all speed setting, I could not find that. Does it make sense to have use Brake Force flashing?

The M live cockpit is pretty cool but it doesn’t display the drive mode or change to blue eco or sport displays anymore. It is a nice change for M.

I tried it and liked it too, but i lose the sport tach in the HUD. And not showing the modes is kinda a drag. Maybe missing another toggle to enable more info?

Does anyone know if the newly updated BDC control will allow us to change the speed that the mirrors automatically unfold? I've done it on previous cars but can't find the parameter in Expert Mode to adjust it on the G05.
