Regarding displaying the drive modes in the M-Dash, I am still keeping hope alive . Seeing the picture below from the M5 Competition tells me they are there, albeit in a different spot on the cluster. The M5, just like on the G05 and G07, has individual settings for Engine, Suspension and Steering so it should be possible. Just need to figure out how to turn them on (or map them correctly). It would be great if there were an M5 Competition owner who would be willing to share their CAFD files so that a more efficient search for the correct parameters could be done.

But you gotta admit, that M-dash layout looks so much better than the standard one....

I have another question about the M-Dash....

When I coded the M-Dash display, one other element that I noticed was missing is the the rpm red line on the tach (see pic above from a 2020 M5). Has anyone seen anything in the dash coding that will allow you to match the redline of a particular engine to the M-Dash display?

I'm looking for this too. only way i can do it now is to turn OFF auto headlights and turn ON parking lights ( which are same as drl's) then turn ON fog lights. problem is you have to physically turn parking lights OFF after you're done driving or they will stay on...

Hey guys, I'm sure a lot of you know more about BimmerCode then I do. I am considering getting the module and making some slight adjustments to the car. In specific, changing the fog lights to be able to turn on with the parking lights like I could do in my E70. The website says this is possible for the G05, but would any of you be able to confirm? Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply.

So in the App Under Body Domain Controller you'll see Fog Lights with parking lights. Mark that active.

That's the iPhone (IOS) version of Bimmercode, right?

I use Android and I don't see those fog light options either.

I find some features lag behind on the Android version - usually only a few weeks.

My old G30 had an option where seat heating would come on above a certain outside temperature. My G05 also has this but only for drivers side, not passenger. Does anyone know if it's possible to code this for the passenger.

Also, can the car be coded to auto lower on air suspension to lowest setting when you turn it off?

Yes to seat heating for passengers, including using Bimmercode in Expert Mode:

For seat heat/cool auto activation:

HU_MGU/3E52 (on G05)
- AKT_AUTO_SITZE_FOND: heizung_kuehlung (for rear seat heating and cooling)
- AKT_AUTO_SITZE_FRONT: heizung_kuehlung (for front seat heating and cooling)

Use heizung for just heating

For auto-lowering, someone has claimed they had it coded, but I don't believe they ever proved it or provided any information beyond the claim even after multiple requests to do so.

As much as i would love to be able to code car go to lowest setting i would be scared my wife park the car close to curb stop and the car would lower. Specially with front lip installed.

I could have sworn I saw someone post this same screen shot stating that they had the climate control rules for the passenger without coding via Bimmercode. I've been trying to find this same screen shot with the OP's comment that he had it in a previous iDrive release and that it disappeared in a subsequent release. Perhaps I just misread the post.

Hm, that set of codes was part of a bigger set. I didn't think the rest was needed, but that was likely a wrong assumption, apologies. Here is the full set — the BDC coding may well be needed as well.

Steering wheel auto heat activation:

BDC_BODY3/7083 (on G05)
- LHZ_CCM_IKF: aktiv
- IKF_ENABLE: ikf_alle_sitze

HU_MGU/3E52 (on G05)
- AKT_AUTO_LENKRADHEIZUNG: aktiv

Seat heat/cool auto activation:

HU_MGU/3E52 (on G05)
- AKT_AUTO_SITZE_FOND: heizung_kuehlung (for rear seat heating and cooling)
- AKT_AUTO_SITZE_FRONT: heizung_kuehlung (for front seat heating and cooling)
