Power folding rear seat

I saw a 2020 G05 5-seater today with power folding (and rising) rear seat. I didnt realize that was possible. Can anybody inform me which code this option has?

If you have 3rd Row Option, you will have power 2nd Row Seats.

Yes but it did not have the third row. Only the power folding second row.

I believe the power folding option was removed in MY 2022 by a trunk latch, which is not available any longer for MY 2023 and 2024.

MY2022 doesn't have trunk latch to release 2nd row anymore

How do you fold the rear seat in MY 2023 and 2024 then?

The old fashioned way: small latch release on the seat backs. If you’re short, you need to do it from inside of car.

Yeah definitely not ideal but still does the job. For a $80K+ vehicle, it would be nice to have power folding seats or even the latch in the trunk.

If I have a freedom of choice, I will take manual latch in trunk to fold, but power unfold with button in trunk. there is such an implementation out there. I forgot which car it was.

If this option isn't available, I will take manual over power any day. The X7 power folding is painfully slow in real world use.

This is my experience too--most cars with power fold are slow and the folded seat is not as sleek as the manual option. I love the rear trunk manual release in my 2020. Sad to see it disappear.

FWIW I was looking at used X7s 2-3 years old. Most had at least one not fully functioning power seat.

I like bells and whistles but this is one that I would avoid.

Have this implementation on my 2012 Nissan Murano. Does come in handy from time to time.
