Which one? Blue or Red calipers on Brookly Grey

Help me decide. Does the blue stand out enough? Is the red too flashy with grey? It's like almost life or death, these choices are.

iMO, the red has more contrast and is very visible. Yet the blue is unique to BMW as it's not seen on any other brand of OEM cars where red calipers are relatively common. My 2 cents? The red with BG.

If Alpine or Mineral White,...go with the Red calipers,...they really pop on AP and MW. For all other colors,...it's a coin toss!

Lol... what does your gut tell you? Are you leaning one way vs another? It's all a matter of personal preference.

Blue is BMW for me and just “pops” in a classy way for a SUV.

My vote is blue. I think it will look sharp without overly highlighting the brakes. To be fair, I see your struggle as the red would look fierce. Your a winner either way!

The high spec LED lights has blue accents in them I believe, just like the pre-LCI lasers has blue accents. On the other hand the rear lights are red… I would proabaly go blue as it is an more BMW M colour and if it is 50e you have blue accents around the badges. Also as much as I like red calipers I feel they are more sport car associated and thus more suitable on a different type of car than a SUV, unless it is the M-version.
Neither is a bad choice…

Obviously the opinions here are pretty divided, so pick what you think looks better.

I might as well throw in my two cents- I think blue is the way to go. Red is a bit too “Civic Type R” for me.

What Color Wheels . I think the color can go either way. But wheels is relative to how sporty of no the car looks. How about flip of a coin. If you go silver, go blue. If you go black, go red.

Personally I like the blue on the BG. Red is nice too but reminds me of an Audi.

I have a Tanzanite blue X5 arriving shortly and chose blue but if I had ordered any other colour than blue for the paint would have had red.

All my BMWs have blue calipers, and I'll say with a little dust on them, you can barely see them. I wonder if red would stay visible longer? Just one other point to consider. I am sure if I spent time cleaning them they would look better, but I don't.

I got red ones.. My BMW tech who is a friend said the blue ones are hard to see when it's covered in brake dust. Red pops and stay visibly Red with brake dust. So, depends on how often you clean them. and Brake dust is real!

The solution to that is low dust carbon ceramic pads

+1! My buddy has a white X5 and got the blue ones. He says that he doesn't even notice them now unless he comes up close. It's accumulated a lot of brake dust as well but he's probably not as diligent with cleaning them.

I haven't had much issues with the red ones that I have and still really clean. But I also had them ceramic coated and I've been pretty good with cleaning them (for now ).
