I have a X5 M50i as a loaner right now and it's a great car.

I was someone who didn't love my X5M and got rid of it. It was too harsh.....the M50i is way more smooth. They both haul ass. You can Carbahn-tune a M50i for $1200 and it will be as fast as the X5M. I also hated the ridiculous wheel gap on the X5M...

I also had a G30 M550i and the F90 M5....and that was a model where I definitely thought the M5 was the better choice.

The X5 is the one model where I feel the M50i is the better choice...

I was thinking to trade me F95 as well. It never be my first pick when going out 1 year and only 5 k miles on it. So sad. I was regret trading my X5 50i for the x5M . Dont get me wrong, F95 is a very nice car , good power, handling and luxurious. But it just too much for me. Too much for SUV , now it stand in garage forever. I alway pick up my camry and going out. Just dont feel tired or anything to get in and go, missing this feeling with my previous 50i. Most of the time on the road i can drive only 60-80 mph maximum , dont go much for highway so it is really useless for me to have this kind of power.i bought all exterior CF parts and racechip , mss spring and etc but ended up selling them because im not sure how long I will keep the car. Thinking about trading in for M340 M440 , M850 and 540i . Just wait for a proper deal.

Seems like you really need a car rather than a truck or you have a hard time making decisions.
