Adults can fit but at an angle. There is about a 6 inch drop for leg space. Think 911 but with all the head height you need. Works well if you drop the middle section of the second row. |

I'll try to get pics tonight. 3rd row is manual and the space would be very tight for adults. We got it just In case we needed an extra seat for kids

Presumably orders from dealers as dealer stock v orders placed on behalf of customers? Prioritise people that have ordered v a nice to have for a dealership. Makes sense. Hopefully not too long a wait - well worth it!

As per BMW genius, week 10 build for X5 with 3rd row are now tentatively pushed out to week 14..
Keeping my fingers crossed that these are not pushed back any further.. |

Can we simply call the BMW dealer and cancel the order? I guess the dealer is going to give us a hard time. Not sure how this works. |

You can cancel any time. Even if your vehicle arrives and you don’t like it. My dealer states they get a few each year that customers changed their minds.

The 2nd row is powered, there is a toggle button that moves the seats forward and down in order to access the 3rd row. There is also levers on the lower sides of the seats to adjust the 2nd row fwd and back. It reclines slightly too but not much

We just placed an order for our X5 with a 3rd row this past weekend (our 1st BMW). Just wondering if anyone knows if the second row floor liners will be the same for both with and without the 3rd row. I tend to think they would be different to accommodate the 2nd row movement, but just wanted to ask. Thanks!

We all won. I got my X-line, the guy who ordered it got his M-sport and the dealer made 2 sales. They shouldn't give you a hard time at all.
