Bimmercode Error For Body Domain Controller
I have a recent 2021 BMW X5 45e, just this late August. Amazing car and my upgrade from the X5 40e. To tailor the vehicle to my preference I purchased the OBDLink MC+ and using the current Bimmercode version 3.6.1. Everything connects and I can do some coding. When I get to the Body Domain Controller, after downloading I get “Error: Error while reading coding data”. I’m sure there’s an explanation and have read posts regarding a beta test, etc. Any thoughts out there, as bimmercode has not responded.

Everyone is so correct. All other code modules seem to work. The true “guts” seem to be in the Body Domain Controller. We all want the control over the vehicle, in whatever suits you.
Once available to approach the Controller, I’ll trend lightly, as I’m honestly open to many others’ expertise here. |

There is a beta version of Bimmercode that does work. That is a Bimmercode update, not an iOS one (although the version of iOS might contribute). There will be an update to Bimmercode at some time, and this will work. If you send the author a trouble report, he may offer you the beta version. I don't know if he has had enough testers yet or not. But, it is coming, and at least in the beta version, does work.
