I applied CQuartz UK 3.0 outside and a polymer inside, forgot the name. Been on 2 years haven't needed to use the Reload that came with the kit. Shiny and slick as snot still. Tough stuff, outlasts all polmers, waxes and many nano ceramics. Paid a mobile detail guy $125 to prep well - clayed, de-iron, wash, etc. before I wiped it down panel by panel with Isopropyl and then applied the ceramic coating.

Hit the front wind exposed areas twice with the CQuartz. Love this stuff. Got a smear or two on glass, had to use polish to get it off.

BTW, there are plenty of excellent real world tests comparing products applied to a hood and exposed to harsh chemicals, sun, weather. YouTube videos.

I spent a lot of time looking. I had never done a ceramic prior to this application. I read a lot about what was needed it got some new LED stand lights that have adjustable color temp. 5k is great for light and 6.5k for dark. Lighting is important so you don't get high spots.

I went with CQuartz UK 3.0. I chose it because of the reasonable flash time, easy on and off, 18 month durability, amazing hydrophobic properties, and the overall exceptional reviews online. It is also highly recommended for wheels. It is a good days worth of work, but worth it. If your correction is on point, then you will be VERY happy. After 2 months, it still looks like the day I applied it. I am very pleased thus far.
@130 . I too am very happy with CarPro, in fact I use a lot of their products.

Also ceramic coat your wheels, cleaning is much easier.

It's great but for the work, it's not worth it. Nice 6-9 hours correction and coating with the above to result in another coat in 3-6 months....

I moved to ceramic coating and opened my own small ceramic install business cause I'm just obsessed. If anyone lives in South Florida and needs the correction and 3-5year coat, HMU.
