Climate rules vanished in idrive

I suddenly lost several apps in my idrive.
I don't have the climate rules and the automated window anymore. I'm since last summer on 07/2021.40

Until a few days ago I had automatic heated seats and steering wheel when the temperature was low. I was able to adjust settings for this.
But now I don't see the settings anymore and I have to manually put on the heated seats.
I rebooted idrive, updated apps, deleted my profile and reconnected but nothing helps.

What's wrong and how can I fix this?

I just reveived Chrismas greetings on idrive. After playing I got the message that I can replay with the Christmas Holidays app. When looking at the apps suddenly all apps are back including climate control and automated window.

I have spent the last hours rebooting and updating with no succes
Maybe I got as Christmas present all my apps back

I had this same problem. I cant remember the exact menu but in the connected apps section in idrive you can hit “option” and it re-downloads the entitled apps (like weather, etc). When I did this it re-authorized the climate rules following my upgrade.

When you're looking at the list of apps, on the left menu you have something like All Apps and the the link to the store.

With the all apps option highlighted, press the Option button on the iDrive controller, then choose to update apps/services or whatever it says.

Following the latest update, I saw the option in the HVAC menu for climate rules, but it was grayed out. After a couple of days it came back, so I assume my vehicle was missing the app following the update and it eventually refreshed.

Hi Heavyd

Have the same problem on my iX3. And happened also just before Xmas.

Did the updated, the restart of iDrive and nothing so far...as i am not in BE, I'm not sure if this is linked to it (doesn't make much sense but God knows..)

will wait a couple of days more

Had the same problem with vanished climate rules and experience mode. Tried to update apps and services via option button on installed apps screen - no luck, restarting idrive several times, locking/unlocking, deleting driver profiles - no luck either.
In my case solution was to delete car from connecteddrive account and add it again. All apps (experience mode, caring car, automated windows and climate rules) were recovered in a minute or two.

1. Open MyBMW app on the phone.
2. Select Profile tab
3. Go to ConnectedDrive store
4. Log in ConnectedDrive account
5. Select Profile-My Cars
6. Select the bmw with problem and go to its settings
7. Delete the car from ConnectedDrive
8. Wait 2-3 minutes
9. Click add car
10. Fill up VIN
11. Wait 1-2 minutes

That’s what have done it for me.
P.S.: be aware - after deleting car from connected drive all digital keys would be deactivated and need reactivation
