Bad result - good result

I have a puncture in my 6 weeks old 40i which means a new tyre, the dealers in UK aren't open until Tuesday so BMW assist have arranged the loan of a 2 month old X5M Competition.

No foglights or seat release levers in boot but it does have Harmen Kardon and wireless charging.

The guy who delivered the car to me said he had delivered x line x5's as loaners to customers who refused to accept them because their cars were m sports, I told him not to worry as I would accept the competition.

Finally received my car back with new tyre fitted, X5M competition returned.
My view is that although the competition is a great car it isn't worth £35000 ($47000) more than mine. The performance is unbelievable but it doesn't feel that special inside or out to justify the extra money. The roads in the UK aren't made for a car with such harsh suspension that with the extras fitted to it would cost £120000 ($163000)in the UK.
Not trying to upset anyone but just my opinion.

I had the same reaction after driving the X5M and other M cars at BMW M Track Day. I loved them all. The power and handling are remarkable. I'm glad those great M cars are available for those who want them. But for the way I drive, the G05 40i M-sport well optioned is plenty good enough for how I drive.
