What color ambient lighting is everyone using?
I’m torn between the orange and the blue...
What are you guys all using?

Orange, blue, and the occasional purple. Orange does seem to match the stock interior the best, but if you have Alpina dash coded and in default Sport+ mode, blue matches well.

Same as you. Settled on orange, 3-5 notches down from max without dimmed for nighttime. Orange felt closest to the traditional BMW color to me.

Phytonic Blue car, so it’s mostly blue, with the occasional traditional orange. The wife will often put on lilac. I tell her that blue is the default, but you know how that goes.

Started with blue now blue and white. I tend to switch it up every few months. Will switch to classic BMW orange, whenever I can actually drive the car enough to get bored of the blue and white...

Lilac and blue.
Blue seems to show up nicer in the day, but I always had a soft spot for pink (Lilac), so I use it at night. |

Depends on time of year for me. In the Summer I tend to use all blue for a cooler ambience. Green for spring. Usually orange in the colder months.
I do also use purple from time to time as I like the look |

wow covid19 really has us bored today talking about interior lighting schemes lol.
anyway, I also had it as orange/white for the longest time, but then everything on the inside was orange. Then I changed it to bronze/white. I like this for now given the idrive controller is still orange. I also set the B&W to be white instead of matching the interior lighting. Full brightness for me, doesnt distract me and it makes everyone who gets in the car ask what 'bowers and wilkins' means. Someone once said 'is that what BMW stands for?" |

as a complete aside, Ive had to go on short trips in my neighborhood or to a out of town neighbor's house. and there's very little traffic and no cops. so I've actually been able to 'open it up' a bunch of times. I felt guilty about it, but i loved driving in sport plus loll
