I officially win the most mileage on or before delivery

My car is still in "awaiting carrier assignment" in Spartanburg and this is what displayed in My BMW app.

holy shit - I wonder if they reset that once it's out of transport mode?

They do put miles on them transferring them onto the trains, between trains, and at the dealership. When I was there, the pulled up a huge carrier of X-vehicles and unloaded them, here's what it looked like:

But are those cars on the truck destined for US delivery?
A year ago, and for a while before, US destined X models only had the white plastic on the hood and roof.
I'd be surprised if BMW is spending the money to wrap them like a new C8 corvette?

I'm nervous now! I posted on a few other threads that I am purchasing a 22 X5M comp. Paper work shows 10 miles but the car has 61 miles on it!! That seems very high from what I'm reading. Should I be worried?

It makes me think the car was driven today? The PDI was yesterday afternoon - car was still wrapped with all delivery film and transport cover etc.

They were trying to rush the paperwork to me so guessed at 10 miles to put on the contract. But I asked my SA today for mileage and he said when he did the key read it was 61. It seems very very high. He is willing to send me the PDI report and the key read report but is there any way to know when these miles were put on the car?

He sent me pictures yesterday during the PDI and then another picture today and it's very clear the car moved…

First pic (daylight) was during PDI. Second one is tonight. This is my first BMW purchase and I just want to make sure I'm not overreacting. I am going to ask the SM/GM for an explanation.

Is the dealership where you purchased the vehicle from the original buyer of the car from BMW? Maybe your vehicle could be a trade/swap with another dealership? I know some dealerships in SoCal has a "no test drive" policy on the M vehicles, but I'm not sure if the dealership where you purchased the car from has the same policy in place.

Hope the SM/GM can provide a satisfactory answer. But at the end of the day, as long as the car doesn't have any major mechanical defects/issues, just relax and enjoy the car. Don't get the milage ruin the joy of owing your first-ever M vehicle. It's truly an amazing car.

I'm pretty sure they are but never asked. I'm worried someone took the car out for a test drive(s) or joy ride after PDI. Trying not to stress over it but the mileage seems excessive given this was almost certainly not a trade etc. I don't take delivery until Monday so can always cancel the deal.

Just want to know what others would do here. The SA said they can find me another inventory car but none are optioned quite the way I'd like other than this one.

For me it's the principle of being honest about the history of the car. I wish there was an easy way to verify my concerns.

My x6mc had 37 miles - was driven from a dealer in Concord CA over to my office. My lease paperwork said 7 miles on the odometer. I hope the driver took my shit out on a hardcore joyride, always want people to have fun on my behalf.
