CJ2018, can you run the vehicle telematics report as per the steps below? I am afraid that BMW is screwing us in the US again by putting a lower limit on usable capacity just like on 45e to make sure the battery can withstand the 8 year warranty period.

1. Log into https://mygarage.bmwusa.com
2. Go to vehicle profile.
3. At the top menu choose CarData and “Request BMW CarData Report”.
4. It will take around 24 hours to get generated. Just check in the same place for your CarData report.
5. Usable battery capacity is under “Energy content of the high-voltage battery” in the main HTML file of the report.

oh yea, i had actually dismissed those because they're smaller and more subtle. personally, i'd still remove them if it were my car

Yes, no side M badges for G05 LCI in the US as confirmed by photos in several posts in G05 and 50e Facebook groups.

I thought the 15yr warranty doesn't start until 2026 and it is currently 10 yrs, did they move it up?

I've checked, and I see that the EU configurator shows visualization with M-emblems on the sides, but no M on the back.

With 50e, there is no option to remove back model emblems in the configurator, but when I switched to 40i, it is an option to remove back emblems.

When I ordered 45e I had the option to resign from 50-year M emblems and it was decreasing my final price ~$95.

Well, that's some strange BMW mindset for the "firemen".
If you order an electric Porsche you can remove all that crap when ordering. Also with order brands. Maybe because more BMW's burn out

I had the detailer remove that crap on my 45e. My new BMW dealer doen't make any fuss removing it on the 50e when it's delivered.
