Just tested the screen protector while driving in SoCal. Semi cloudy and I tested viewing with my moonroof open and closed from several angles. No noticeable added glare but more of a gloss look added to the screen.

The glare is no more or less than what is was before. Only time I might notice it more is when the moon roof is opened on a very sunny day and I am angled in a way where I notice it like the first picture. I purposely took that shot to show best and worst case scenarios.

In the last couples of days of driving, I forgot about it. That would be a good thing in this scenario.

My Screen Protector ordered directly from the LFOTPP site arrived today. The packaging is really nice and says Tempered Glass on it. Guess I was one of the lucky ones getting it for $12.99

My protector was delivered while we were away last week. It was very well packaged and included installation tools and instructions. It is definitely tempered glass, not flexible vinyl. Very pleased and should be well worth the $12.99 I paid. Plan to install immediately after delivery on Monday, President's Day.

Received my iDrive7 tempered glass screen protector last week, very good packaging, easy installation.
You can see the glare or reflection when CID is displaying dark images and I have the roof sunshade opened)
It works much better when the CID is displaying bright images or the sunshade is closed.

Definitely worth the price of $12.99 !

Any tips for a successful installation? Any problem installing if weather is cold?

weather doesn't matter, clean the screen and ensure there's no dust . The process is akin to installing a glass screen protector on your phone

I was impressed by the lack of bubbles on my first install on these protectors...unlike phone ones

Did you use the little suction cup to help place the protector?

Yes, I did use the suction cup. I would also wear latex gloves.

I installed by cleaning the iDrive screen with a damp microfiber cloth and used the included suction cup to align and install without any bubbles. My recommendation and this can even go towards doing such install with a phone tempered glass protector is to gently place the protector on the surface, allow it to slowly attach. You can also tab the center of the glass and you will notice it will start moving the air outwards. That way you will have a zero bubble install.

Is there a glare without any screen protector? I wish there was an option of anti-glare screen protector
