Red face please. help help

I just got my e90 sedan a few months ago and I already made 3 huge scratches on the car my parents bought me.

I think if my dad sees it he's gonna kill me..... if that's not bad enough, TODAY I just made another big big scratch on the driver side right wheel and its so noticeable when you just take a peak near it......

ok so anyway, I want to get this fixed asap.... I just wanna know if the bmw warranty is included for scratches and stuff on the car and wheel..... If not, how much is it gonna cost me?

Hmm, no it's not covered and there is no way to tell how much it is going to cost you without seeing it. Look at it this way, the car was free for you so whatever it costs you got away cheap.

But ive never hit anything/received a ticket/been in an accident/etc... since i started driving at 16.
Go me!

As for the scratches.. better to fess up.. UNLESS you have the money, in that case just take it to a detail shop. BUT they may keep it for a day or something.. your parents might wonder where the car is.

Here's a great way to help yourself; while turning, try not to do other things.

... the cost of repair depends on how bad the scratches are. Good luck and drive carefully.

Good luck with the scratches. Unfortunatly, BMW warranty definatly is not going to cover the cost.

The best thing to do is to do a google search for any wheel repair shops in your area. Usually a wheel repair shop can get scratches out fast and for a affordable price (well affordable compared to buying a whole new wheel). Arouind here the wheel repair shops usually charge from 100-200$ per wheel.

Good luck !

What you really need to do is work hard and pay for a car with your own money. Then when you're driving you might actually care about the car instead of it just being antother 'thing' that mommy and daddy gave you. It's nice that your parents can afford to give you such a nice car, but ultimately they're not doing you any favors.
That's my soapbox version... the reality version is more like: so what, your folks can afford it. Tear it up, who cares.

I once got 2 speeding tickets on the same trip going from Texas to Louisiana. I got 1 ticket in texas and about 2 hrs later, a ticket in louisiana ($100 each). that was when I was young, much wiser now.

your parents r going to yell at u no matter what. We all done things that our parents don't approve and we get yell at. Keep the $$$ in your pocket and enjoy the car and be a little extra careful. Relax, don't sweet it.

I've driven over curbs before, but does that count? It didn't hit the curb so it didn't do anything to the car. That was a few years ago though when I had my integra. Plus, I'm really short so I can't see anything that is directly in front of my car. haha

I hope so, because it's easy to get killed while doing things like this while you are driving. Good thing you only got curb rash on a wheel. Drive with care.
