Question: Does anyone know what all takes place during the "Production Begins" stage?

I can't say exactly, but that's when you can no longer make changes to a build and parts are being ordered/sourced. At least with the X5, it usually happens about 2 weeks before "Production Begins" stage.

The dealer did ask if I wanted the bracket drilled in and I said yes. I could've left without the front plate, but I'm too much of a rule follower to have done that.

Does your X5 have adaptive cruise control? I'm probably going with a bracket that mounts in the grill with no drilling.

Was it the Annapolis dealer?

According to my dealer and genius, my X5 has been at the VPC since Thursday, but mygarage says it's only been dispatched from the factory. Genius said estimated delivery (Massachusetts) is Tuesday. Is it normal for there to be a lag in status updates in mygarage?

I did not get the adaptive cruise control. I ordered at Towson.

Congratulations! I chose the Tartufo seats with message as well. Just had my level 2 charger installed today! Can't until she arrives. Hopefully in a few weeks.

Hi I purchased the Nema 14-50. I chose to have it hardwired, therefore the Nema plug was removed.Thanks
