Exhaust flap module

I have been using this OBDII can flap module on both my F80 and F85 and I was wondering if the G series of that module would work on the F95 X5M and upcoming LCI.

https://burgertuning.com/products/ob...40468319764654

If not is there a similar, easy to install, module that would allow the exhaust valves to stay open all the time?

F95 has 2 flap valves, dahler is what you need.

I'm running full akra & secondary cat delete and I'm about to add AA catted primary. Does anybody know if any of the Exhaust flap modules help with the loud cold starts ? Was looking at the Dahler but can't find any info if it'll help with cold starts....

Dahler Valve control is what you need. Be sure to select the setup designed for two valves. Yes, this system allows you to program and save the valves to be FULLY open on every start no matter warm or cold or driving mode.

The valves are basically NEVER fully open at idle otherwise per OEM BMW programming despite the mode it's in.

I have this installed and it has worked flawlessly.

I found the best price in the USA from Keis Motorsports.

Not 100%, because cold start is not just an open exhaust valve, but also opened up the wastegate to bypass the turbo and dump all the hot exhaust gas to the catalytic to prime it up for 100% filtration.
That’s mainly what make cold start louder and nastier.

If your intent is to quiet down the cold start then nothing out there is going to work. By default the valves are already closed during cold starts. I know this because i have the Dahler unit and if press the button on the unit it will make my cold start even LOUDER

So even if you zip tie them open they aren’t 100 percent open?

I zipped the ones on my M3 and X3M. 10-15 min. Easy and I’m not handy. Getting an X5M tomorrow. Similar process and access?

I like them open the majority of the time. But, when I am on long road trips involving hours of highway driving or want to remain low-key, hitting the remote for a quieter ride is worth the money for me.

I have no catalytic converters and a full FI exhaust, so keep that in mind. She is loud!

Anyone have any sound clips with the Dahler leaving the valves fully opened? With stock exhaust, cat, and everything else.

I don't sorry. But I can tell you it would still be too quite for my liking.
