Sound like the X5M?

Hi, I have a 2019 40i. Is there anything I can do to make the car sound like the X5M? Exhaust? If so, I know nothing about this so please let me know what kind to get or anything else that can be done.

Thanks!

Your 6 cylinder maybe never sound quite like a 8 cylinder. You can get a new catted downpipe and or a new aftermarket exhaust if will help. There are many choices to choose from when it comes to exhaust systems. Do a search, there's plenty of information on this. Good luck!

Hmmm,lets see..how to make an inline 6cyl sound like a V8...

Easy peasy!! Remove your 6cyl engine, swap it with an X5M V8 engine,it will sound 100% like an X5M,guaranteed!

Thanks guys. I know on some vehicles like a Range Rover you can press a button inside the vehicle to turn on and off the exhaust sound. Does such a feature exist on an aftermarket exhaust?

Yes Fi exhausts has that option. Since you have a 2019 its really easy to tune it if you're open to it. Find a reputable shop in your area, get a full catback exhaust Fi Exhaust makes one for your model, catless down pipes Redstar exhaust USA makes really good ones, and get it tuned. Pretty sure it would sound similar to this just depending on if you choose no burbles or aggressive burbles...
Here are all the links with a video by redstar with how it sounds
