I am really starting to like Phytonic Blue Metallic. this picture looks awesome. Great choice. I also am starting to lean towards the 20" 740M wheels. The beefier tire sits well. Congrats
Same here. I'm between this one and arctic grey, both with coffee interior.

Picked up the car last week ( week 49 build)
Just finished my fist car wash after a 500 mile road trip that required snow chain to return home. Enjoyed every minutes of the drive !!

You are one of the firsts to have X5 with Air Suspension and IAS. What are your impressions of the ride? Does IAS make any appreciable difference?

Thanks!

I love it. I have not noticed any weir feel from the IAS compare to my my old X5 that does not have IAS except the ride is a lot more comfortable.

I can make tight U turn in 1 shot in this G05 X5 where my old X5 I could not.

Very stable going around curves at speed way above the posted Yellow signs ( not want to put the exact speed in writing )

I increased ride height to the max allowed under " snow chain installed " mod. and drove below 30 mph to get through a now storm on the way home.

Hats off to BMW for allowing customer to pick individual options without being forced to buy package upgrade that included stuff you do not need!

NO, leather credit end in November. Week 49 is 1st week in Dec for Active Cruise Control option. That was why I switched back to Beige Sensa Tec w/ black upholstery. my build was actually delayed to week 50. I was presently surprise to see black leather dash on my car when I pick it up !

Not sure if someone punch in the wrong code in the factory or they were were short on black texture foam dash at the time because of the all delays ?

Oh, just remember I also have ACC and Parking assistance options.

Try www.gcautoshield.com John Gray is the owner and has done work for me in the past (on my Audi). He's a certified XPEL PPF and Feynlabs Ceramic installer. Below is a screenshot from Google with the reviews (all 5 star). I highly recommend giving him a go, prices are pretty good from what I recall.

You still need to take care of the car not let grime/dirt cake the outside for you extended periods. It should help reduce the amount of swirling (paint marring) you get throughout the life of the car but nothing is 100% even if you treat things properly.

Looks good. So you got beige with a leather dash and it's black, not brown? If we want beige leather we have to get a brown leather dash which we don't want. BMW allows beige with black dashes on most if not all other cars.

Brown Leather dash is with Beige Varnesca leather; I think he ordered Beige SensaTec but received a Black Leather dash.

On BMW configurator, you get a black base dash with Beige SensaTec, so he may have gotten lucky as he didn't specifically order Leather dash.

No problem, people think coatings are magic protection but they're not. PPF (paint protection film) is more resilient to everything but way more expensive for the full car

Yep I get all that. So they must not have had the standard black dash panel available and give him a black leather dash with the Sensatec. The Beige Sensatec and Beige Vernasca appear to be the same color, it's just odd that you have to get brown with one (for $1,200).
