Correct. They come as a package. We have the massaging seats and they are SO GOOD. Use them almost every time we are in the car. Talk about luxury/opulence! Feel like a king in these seats...

my car is already ordered and scheduled for production, but production has not begun yet. can I still add the luxury seating package?

Agreed -- the ventilation feature seems pretty subtle. It's the massage feature that makes the package worthwhile.

If you have a VIN I believe you can't change the order anymore.

I tried a change. I was told once it's "scheduled for production" it's locked in the queue and no further changes are possible.

That's not true. I made several changes when mine was in 'schedule for production' stage. Once you have a VIN you can't.
Make sure to submit your request as quickly as possible before it goes into production. It literally takes the dealer 5-10 mins to make changes, At least that was the case with me

Yeah I don’t have the VIN yet. Dealer said he will give me once production starts. I need to do some serious thinking if i want to add luxury seat package. I thought the multicontour seats would suffice.

I went with Geyon ceramic coating as recommended by several ppl in my area.

As for the window tinting I only did the two front windows to match the factory glass at 20%. I did this also as I ordered the executive package because it had the manual rear window shades and soft close doors and hud.

Hope this helps. I'm very happy with the choices I made imho.

Picked up my new 2019 X5 50i M sport on Sat. Black Sapphire w/Coffee Merino leather. Had Black M Performance 20 Inch 748M Winter Weather set installed so my new 22" rims will have to wait until Spring. The black rims look better than anticipated. Only snafu is the BMW app does not work so I have to take the car back to the dealership at some point. Unreal to take delivery of a new car and have something like this to deal with. Dealer said they are experiencing the same issue with others. This is my fourth X5 and they just keep getting better. Love the car.
