X5 45e Journey Data

Just completed my first longer drive and I thought I would share the details.
The journey consisted of all types of driving, motorway, dual carriageway, A roads and town driving.

Distance travelled 236.0 miles
Average Mpg 36.1 Mpg
Average Speed 48.4 Mph

87.8 miles on electric.

I ran in Hybrid mode mostly but sometimes used fully electric.

Some calculations.

I used 6.53 gallons(UK) so the ICE averaged 22.9 MPG but if you add in the extra miles generated, as in normal fully electric mode I would get around 48 miles on a full charge so we have extra 39.8 miles of electric running which brings the ICE up to 28.9 MPG which I think is very impressive.

When you say you generated the extra electric miles was this through normal regeneration or through battery hold?

Just through normal regeneration.

Same here. thanks a lot for this info. My order is in for an early May build. Good to hear real mileage stats.
