X5 50e Manhattan Green Metallic

Did not see in person until the car was delivered. Very happy with my decision and glad I listened to my wife.

Very classy color. I've seen it on a few X5M's around there.

looks great. We ordered without seeing MG on a car as well. We stuck with the 20 inch all season wheels and tires, although I really liked the 21s just had a hard time justifying purchasing a winter set. We also went with blue calibers and Coffee Merino. Dealership is saying May 6th, so one more week....

Nice! Glad to see more photos confirming that Manhattan Green looks great in the real world. I am putting in an order for an X5 in this color, cocoa interior, same wheels. Still not sure whether I prefer the grille/window trim in shadowline black or silver. Was leaning silver for the contrast, but these photos sure look good in black as well.

Good afternoon.

First of all, your is really beautiful one. In 2-3 weeks I receive exactly the same specification as for color and interior :-) So far I drive X5 4.5e and I can't wait for all the improvements that BMW has brought to the new version, especially since X5 4.5e is not far to be perfect car.

Returning to 5.0e, I was still looking for a concept to personalize the front of the car. I was looking for an idea how to close the lower part in the color of the varnish, which is currently black. And here I come to my question.

I was inspired by the way of finishing the front on the left side of your car. Both the cooling inlets and the pentagon on the left have painted edges in car's color (Manhatan Brown). For me it looks awsome. I would like to finish the front of my car in the same way. (kinf of personalization )

The question is why in your car such a change was made only on the left side. In the photo it looks like on the right side both elements remained in the original factory black? For comparision i attached pictures of standard M front.

Thank you very much in advance for your answer, next week I start making arrangements with the dealer about the release, so I am very interested in this issue.

Best greetings

I think this is just a visual artifact of the photo lighting. It's all black. The black on the left side of the photo is reflecting different lighter ground surface and therefore appears lighter than the other side which is reflecting ground that is in shadow. You can even see the differently shaded ground reflected across the center panel of the bumper.

Personalization of the X5 LCI

Thx for quick replay.

You are completely right. It is the the only reasonable explanation.

However, why not try makes this idea real? I am going to investigate possibilities to make such a transformation, of course based on proffesional body-car service.

Best
Marek
