Side skirt removal instructions

Hi does anyone have the correct procedure to remove the side skirts on the M sport package ?

Do I need to remove the wheel arche trims first ?

Additionally any specific tools required ?

My carpet light on the right side has become dislodged and I need to get the side skirt off to reseat and glue it back into place.

Dealer won't cover under warranty they are claiming it was damaged due to impact.

No signs of impact but I've lost the case on that one so I'll just fix myself

Were you able to ever get this taken care of? I am facing the same issue but on the driver side (left hand drive here in US) carpet light. I checked the illumination hole on the side skirt to make sure there is no debris stuck or blocking the lens so the light itself must be out of place somehow.
