TPMS Retrofit

My G05 does not come with TPMS (rubber valve stem).

So basically as the vehicle already has a receiver, to retrofit, can I just buy 4x433Mhz BMW TPMS from ebay or anywhere, install it, and use bimmercode to show temp and pressure?

There is no need to tell the car, using a TPMS tool, the ID and which tire like what are on youtube for other car brands?

Thank you so much for your comments!

Are you sure it has the TPMS receiver?

You may need to do a bit more coding to tell the vehicle to use the TPMS versus using logic to determine if a tire pressure is low (it does that by counting revolutions...a low pressure one will have a smaller rolling diameter).

Thank you for your comment.

From this, it seems that the Remote Control Receiver (receive signal from car key to lock/un-lock) is also functioning as a TPMS receiver? Not sure if I interpreted this correctly or not..

The receiver here is for the DSC. Not the one to unlock the car.
If no tpms came with factory likely you would need to retrofit a new DSC as its a integrated system for tire press and temps.
